How We Research

What our comparisons are based on

• Published specifications: official product pages, manuals and spec sheets from the manufacturer or an official store.
• Policies: warranty and return terms as published by the seller.
• A source and a date for every number. Each spec table links to the page it came from and shows the date we read it.

What we don't do

• We don't have the products in hand, and we never write as if we did.
• We don't publish ratings, scores or invented user quotes.
• If a spec isn't published, or the official page contradicts itself, we leave it out and say so. We don't estimate it.
• Walking pad articles cover size, fit, speed range and other specifications only. They make no health, fitness or medical claims.

Prices

Prices change often. We show a price with the store and the date we checked it. Sale prices are labelled, so always check the store before you buy.

For prices and stock, we sometimes use the brand's own online store data: the product information its official store publishes in machine-readable form. It's the same store, just read directly instead of from the web page.
