Best Walking Pads for Under a Desk: Compared by Published Specs
There's no single best walking pad for every desk. The right one depends on how much floor you have, how tall the deck is, how much weight it's rated for, and whether you need to fold it away. Below, seven models are compared using only the numbers their manufacturers publish. Prices were checked at each brand's official US store on Oct 24, 2026.
Quick take
- Least floor space (of the models with a listed size): UREVO SpaceWalk E1L, 42.1 in long. The trade-off is the shortest walking area here (35.4 in).
- Longest walking area listed: WalkingPad Z1, at 47.6 in. The C2, P1 and A1 Pro are close (47–47.2 in).

What these specs mean for you
- Overall length and width decide how much floor the pad takes. Under a desk, part of the pad usually sticks out behind you.
- Walking area is the belt you actually walk on. A longer, wider belt leaves more room around your feet.
- Height matters twice: it raises you, so your desk has to go higher (see our walking pad + standing desk setup guide), and it decides whether the pad slides under a bed or sofa for storage.
- Max user weight is the manufacturer's stated limit. Stay within it.
- Top speed: every pad here tops out at 3.7–4 mph, so all of them are walking machines, not running treadmills.
- Folding helps when the pad has to be put away every day. Only some pages publish a folded size.
Which one fits your situation
- Smallest room or shortest floor run: the UREVO SpaceWalk E1L is the only model with a listed length under 49 in. Check that its 35.4 in walking area is enough for you. UREVO SpaceWalk E1L on UREVO's site
- Most walking room in a pad that folds: the WalkingPad Z1 has the longest listed walking area (47.6 in), the lowest listed height (4.1 in) and a published folded size (31.8 in long). WalkingPad Z1 on WalkingPad's site
- Fold-away on a mid-range budget: the WalkingPad P1 also publishes a folded size (32.5 in long) and has a 47 in walking area. Note its lower user weight limit (220 lb). WalkingPad P1 on WalkingPad's site
- You want incline: the Sunny Pacer is the only one here with a built-in incline (1.67°–3.81°, 6 levels). It's also the largest and heaviest (58.2 in long, 69.5 lb). Sunny Pacer on Sunny's site
- Higher user weight limit: UREVO E1L and Sunny Pacer both list 265 lb. Check the A1 Pro's official page and the seller before you rely on a higher number for it.
- A published noise figure: only the WalkingPad A1 Pro publishes one ("under 65 dB", the manufacturer's own figure). WalkingPad A1 Pro on WalkingPad's site

What we couldn't confirm
- WalkingPad A1 Pro max user weight (conflicting specs): the product description says 300 lb, but the spec table on the same page lists two options, "230 lbs / 105KG" and "300 lbs / 136KG". The two values may belong to different versions, but no official manual or spec sheet we could find confirms which one is sold. Ask WalkingPad before buying if this matters to you.
- WalkingPad C2 overall length and width: not listed on the product page. Its description gives a height of 5.3 in.
- Folding: not listed for the UREVO E1L, Sunny Treadpad 100 or Sunny Pacer.
- Noise: only the A1 Pro publishes a figure, and the page doesn't say how it was measured.
Bottom line
Start with your floor: measure the space under and behind your desk, then pick the longest walking area that fits. If the pad has to be stored daily, choose one with a published folded size. If you need a specific user weight limit, choose a model that states it clearly, and ask the manufacturer when the official pages disagree.
